This will be a monthly account of my road back into the musical realm, in all its planning, fears, incredible highs, and confusion. Miss it too much to just let it go. In the past nine years I saw myself aging with very little creative output, and it truly frightened me that time could be so fleeting. To a certain degree it was watching my son Ivan turning out song after song and simply giving himself to the process with such dedication and courage, that I felt greatly inspired. It’s just so cool to see him come full circle from boy to man in all aspects, especially as a musician. I believe everyone has some degree of artistry in them, and to deny its release would be a great shame.
